Winter weather is coming, and with it, a draw on natural gas. Peter Gardett discusses U.S. energy supplies and prices, and the energy mix we’re using. Natural gas is “increasingly more important,” he argues, though it is still “seasonally attuned.” He discusses risks to the grid and what new energy technologies mean for these markets. Over the next 10 years, he expects demand to increase by 100 gigawatts, or as he says, basically a hundred Austin, Texases.
