Burt Flickinger joins Diane King Hall at the NYSE set to dive into the retail and grocery sector. He says Kroger's (KR) latest earnings report "couldn't have been better" and says they'll "mop the floor with Albertsons (ACI)." Burt believes the scuttled merger between Kroger and Albertsons was ultimately a better course of action. In terms of approaching the retail space, he says "food is the place to be for safety" and believes that grocery stocks will offer investors value. Burt compares Kroger to other grocery retailers like Walmart (WMT), Target (TGT) and Costco (COST).
