He argues that central banks now own more gold than U.S. treasuries for the first time in 30 years, both because of the threat of lower rates and U.S. debt levels. It hit another record high today, and he thinks momentum is still to the upside. The U.S. dollar weakened after the JOLTS report, and Dan thinks that it is “coiling” in a range. He thinks crude oil will continue to fall into the upper 50’s.
