Investors want the Iran conflict to be over, says Dr. Yung-Yu Ma, and it’s hard to position unless people are focusing on the long term. However, as volatility plays out, this can be difficult for market participants. He sees weakening in market internals, although they’ve held together in a “patchwork” fashion that’s keeping markets from a bigger pullback. He thinks green energy will come back, along with other elements in energy security.
