Clayton Triick expects the Fed to continue cutting rates despite limited visibility around economic data. He’s bullish on equities into year end, but thinks that the resumption of economic data could cause a pullback in the short-term. Thus, he’s also looking at fixed income right now for protection. He highlights junk bonds and favors HY credit over stocks as corporate spreads retrace their steps from April.
