Hesser: 'Reasonably Strong Economy' & 'Reasonably Healthy Consumer'

Van Hesser joins Diane King Hall to discuss "the tale of two economies" facing U.S. investors and various income-level households. He says this is a "reasonably strong economy, but with an anxiousness coming out in the data." In terms of belt-tightening efforts, he says wealthier households are driving the economy and that group will be closely watching stock market performance. For the middle-to-lower income cohort, Van cites challenges in spending power. Van adds his thoughts on holiday shopping pointing to a "reasonably health consumer."
