Sarah Kunst says Nvidia (NVDA) and Alphabet (GOOGL) are being “punished for doing a good job,” but it could be people taking gains after a great run. The tech sector is seeing a bifurcation, with some names being punished as investors go back to fundamentals, she argues. She likes GOOGL’s stock, saying it “invented AI as we know it” and will be a major winner in the sector. One of the underlying questions of AI is when revenue will even “slightly begin to build up” to the levels promised. She thinks Palantir (PLTR) is too expensive, noting that it is a consulting company valued like a tech company.
