The U.S. government is "on track" to reopen before Thanksgiving, says Kevin Hincks from the Cboe Global Markets. He believes the groundwork laid by the Senate will give lawmakers in the House a much-needed push. As for the housing market, Kevin points to a strong uptick in mortgage application purchases but a downtick in refinancing.
