2026 Airlines Outlook: Add-On Perks & Premium Travel Preventing Fare Increases?

Whether airline fares will go up in 2026 depends on how successful their “extra perks” are in gaining revenue, says David Clement. He sees risk to the premium traveler, which has been supporting the sector, if there is an economic downturn. Price-conscious consumers could also feel left behind.
