U.S. stock futures are slightly lower after solid gains of 4.6% for the S&P 500 last week along with a four session win streak. Investors awaited reports from American companies, with over 180 S&P 500 companies reporting, and watched for progress in U.S. trade talks. Four of the Magnificent Seven, Microsoft (MSFT), Apple (AAPL), Meta Platforms (META) and Amazon (AMZN), are due to report earnings this week. Economic data is light today but picks up the rest of the week with traders focused on Jobs data and PCE inflation numbers.

• Oil (/CL) – Oil prices are slightly lower near $62.80 a barrel but remained capped by uncertainty over trade talks between the U.S. and China clouding the outlook for global growth and fuel demand, while the prospect of OPEC+ raising its supply cast more gloom.
• Gold (/GC) – Gold prices are flat near $3300 as easing U.S.-China trade tensions boosted investors’ risk appetite and dented demand for safe-haven assets such as bullion, while a stronger dollar also piled on the pressure.
• Bitcoin (/BTC) – The crypto future is flat near 96K in the premarket. Bitcoin Futures rallied 12% last week as the ‘Risk-On’ trade picked up.
• VIX – The CBOE Volatility Index was down over 6% on Friday and settled at 24.84 as stocks rallied. In the premarket, it is up 2% to around 25.4.
• U.S. Dollar (/DX) – The dollar is flat around 99.4 in the premarket.
